Another Birthday!

Sort of a birthday...Callie is 18 months old today! You hear it all the time but it is true, time flys. It is flying way too fast! She continues to be easy. Callie has been easy from the day she was born. We've had our moments of course, but she has done such a good job of going with the flow. The poor thing has been drug here there and everywhere! She has been to a billion ball games, golf lessons, swim lessons, science classes...I get tired even thinking about it. She is too smart for her own good. She figures things out way to fast, which scares me a little for the future!
Right now Callie is mama's helper. She loves to help unload the dishwasher. Her favorite phrase is "here you go". She'll hand me the things and say "here you go" in the cutest voice. I wish I could get her on video saying it, but she only performs on her terms! Callie loves her brothers and hangs in there with them even when you think she would be scared. You can see in her pictures she is usually covered with bruises. She learned this week about kissing a boo-boo. She fell over with her chair at the baseball game and scraped her arm. I kissed it and said "all better". Now, she is constantly coming up to me saying ow about some random spot and I have to kiss it. It was cute about the first 100 times. The other thing she likes to do is help me put clothes in the washer and dryer. She was helping yesterday and I said "here, you can put daddy's shirt in the washer". She grabbed it right up and proceeded to go all through the house yelling "da". I couldn't convince her he was at work. She just looked so confused. She loves her daddy and runs to him any time he comes home. It is so sweet.

Callie is talking more and more. She will not repeat things if you ask her to. But, she always surprises us and just starts saying something we never knew she could say. She calls her brothers bubba. I don't really know why because we don't call them bubba, but she figured that out somewhere. She calls daddy "da" and me "MAMA". Always a screaming voice when she is talking to me. I don't know why. She can say dog, she loves dogs. She can say Bible, drink and bite. All the important things:).

We are so blessed that Callie's first 18 months have pretty uneventful. She has remained healthy and seems to be happy and love life. We couldn't have asked for anything more! God is good!

Callie one year ago, trying out her high chair. Can you believe how bald she was!?

Callie at Garrett's baseball game. I am sure she is telling him how to put his gear on!

Callie sitting with Daddy. She loves her Daddy!

Kellen and Gannon pushing her on the swing. Thankfully some of the ball fields have parks nearby and thankfully her brothers are willing to take her to play :).

Rapunzel, Rapunzel...

So sweet!
Here she is checking on Gannon. He was upset about something. She can't stand for her brother's to be upset, especially Gannon :).

This was Callie a year ago at the baseball field. Easy times!

Callie in the garage, thinking she can ride a tricycle.

These are some pictures grandma took last week. I love how they show so many of her expressions.

This is a video of Callie "visiting" with our backyard neighbor Kyle. She loves to yell out the window. If you have the sound up loud enough you can here him talking back to her. It was so cute!
